Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In our inpatient rehab setting, you will evaluate patients, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver goal-focused interventions that restore function, independence, and quality of life. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a nurturing, dynamic, and rewarding environment with clear pathways for professional and career growth. Perform comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve function, safety, and independence Provide ADL retraining, cognitive and perceptual rehabilitation, and neuromuscular re-education Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs, and case managers on care plans Educate patients and families on home programs, equipment use, and safety Document assessments, goals, and progress in EMR accurately and timely Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives Support a patient-centered, compassionate care culture at Encompass Health Patient assessment Treatment planning ADL retraining Neuromuscular re-education Therapeutic exercise Orthopedic/neurologic rehab Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation Care coordination Discharge planning Home safety evaluation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state license as Occupational Therapist (OT/R) NBCOT certification preferred or required per state BLS/CPR certification Prior inpatient rehab or acute care experience preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
