Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate patients, develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans, and help individuals regain independence in daily activities. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will provide patient- and family-centered education, document progress, and support safe discharge planning. Evaluate patients’ functional status, cognition, and ADL performance Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, self-care, and safety Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment use Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs, and case managers Document assessments, goals, and progress in the EMR accurately and timely Participate in care conferences and discharge planning Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards Supervise OT assistants and support staff as appropriate Contribute to performance improvement and clinical best-practice initiatives Patient evaluation Treatment planning Neurological rehabilitation Orthopedic rehabilitation ADL retraining Therapeutic exercise Documentation and EMR Interdisciplinary collaboration Discharge planning Patient and family education Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Occupational Therapist (OTR) license State OT licensure in practice location NBCOT certification preferred BLS/CPR certification5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
