Finance Manager - Operations

In this role you partner with U.S. manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain, and distribution to drive operational performance through cost management and working capital improvements. You will align with the Plant Controller - Mexico to standardize manufacturing finance processes and reporting across North America. You'll lead data-driven analyses to support strategic decisions and implement best practices across plants. This position offers impact across multi-site operations and opportunities to influence enterprise-wide manufacturing initiatives. You will work in a cross-border, cross-functional environment shaping the North American value stream.

• Partner with U.S. operational leadership to enhance financial and operational results
• Lead financial support for warehouse, logistics, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing activities in the U.S.
• Provide analysis and recommendations on productivity, efficiency, and cost improvements
• Support decision-making with data-driven financial analysis
• Coordinate with Plant Controller - Mexico and Global Operations Finance Controller to align planning, reporting, and performance analysis across multi-site manufacturing
• Standardize KPI definitions, reporting standards, and financial processes across plants
• Share operational finance best practices between locations
• Support enterprise-wide manufacturing improvement initiatives
• Evaluate manufacturing footprint, sourcing, and optimization opportunities
• Coordinate consolidated operational reporting for North American manufacturing
• Analyze manufacturing and distribution costs; identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Develop business cases for operational initiatives and investments
• Monitor KPI performance and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor inventory levels, turns, obsolescence, and work with teams to optimize working capital
• Support inventory accuracy programs and physical counts
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for U.S. operations with coordination across Mexico and Global Controllers
• Perform variance analysis and identify drivers
• Prepare monthly operating reviews and management presentations
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests with ROI/NPV/payback analyses and monitor project performance
• Strengthen controls, improve reporting automation, and support ERP enhancements

• 7-10+ years in progressive finance roles
• Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or operations
• Multi-site manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong manufacturing and operational finance knowledge, including cost accounting
• Financial modeling and operational analytics
• Advanced Excel and Power BI
• ERP system experience and ability to use manufacturing data for financial decisions
• Spanish language skills a significant plus
