Ascension Property Services, based in Palo Alto, CA, seeks a Sheet Metal Foreman to lead installation and fabrication of sheet metal systems supporting our data centers and technology facilities. In this role, you will supervise a small crew, plan daily work, interpret technical drawings, and ensure high-quality, code-compliant installs for HVAC, ductwork, and equipment enclosures. You will coordinate with project managers and IT facility engineers, enforce safety standards, manage materials, track progress, and document work. Lead and supervise sheet metal crew on facility and data center projects Plan daily work, allocate labor, and manage schedules to meet deadlines Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for sheet metal installations Oversee fabrication and installation of ductwork, enclosures, and related systems Ensure work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards Coordinate with project managers, facility engineers, and other trades Manage materials, tools, and inventory for assigned projects Inspect completed work for quality and resolve issues or rework needs Maintain project documentation, time records, and progress reports Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety Sheet metal fabrication and installation Blueprint and technical drawing reading HVAC and ductwork systems Crew supervision and leadership Construction safety and OSHA standards Use of hand and power tools for metal work Project scheduling and task planning Quality control and inspection Material takeoffs and inventory management Basic computer and digital documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred Journeyman sheet metal worker status or equivalent experience HVAC or sheet metal trade school certification a plus Valid driver’s license and clean driving record5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
