Baptist Urgent Care seeks a Medical Assistant or Limited License X-Ray Tech to support fast-paced, patient-centered urgent care services. In this role, you’ll room and triage patients, obtain vital signs, collect specimens, and assist providers with exams and minor procedures. You will perform limited-scope X-rays following radiation safety standards and document all care in the EHR. You’ll also support lab testing, medication administration per protocol, and patient education. Join a compassionate, team-focused environment dedicated to high-quality, accessible care for the community. Greet, room, and triage patients, recording vital signs and medical history. Perform limited-scope X-rays in accordance with safety and regulatory standards. Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, and treatments. Collect specimens, perform basic lab tests, and complete point-of-care testing. Document care accurately in the EHR and maintain patient confidentiality. Administer medications and injections per provider orders and protocols. Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean, ready state. Follow infection control, radiation safety, and clinic safety procedures. Coordinate patient flow to support efficient urgent care operations. Provide patient education and discharge instructions as directed.
