Physicians Care, a nonprofit clinic serving uninsured adults in Cobb County, seeks a Radiology / Limited License X-Ray Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging. In this role, you’ll perform radiographic and limited license X-ray exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and follow ARRT and state guidelines. You’ll collaborate with physicians and clinic staff, support patient flow, and maintain accurate imaging records. Perform diagnostic radiographic and limited license X-ray exams following ARRT and state guidelines Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout imaging Operate, calibrate, and care for radiology equipment, reporting maintenance or safety concerns Verify patient identity, review orders, and ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed Maintain accurate digital imaging records, documentation, and exam logs in clinic systems Follow radiation safety standards, including proper shielding and dose minimization practices Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to support coordinated patient care Assist with basic clinical tasks and patient flow in a fast-paced nonprofit clinic setting Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA and clinic policies at all times Support quality improvement and infection control practices within the radiology area Diagnostic radiography Limited license X-ray imaging Patient positioning Radiation safety and protection Operation of digital radiography equipment Image quality assessment Electronic medical records documentation Infection control practices HIPAA compliance Basic patient care in clinical setting Current ARRT certification in Radiography or eligibility within designated timeframe Valid Georgia Limited X-Ray Machine Operator or Radiologic Technologist license, as applicable BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Knowledge of radiation safety standards and ALARA principles5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
