Job Description: We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures.
2. Record and maintain accurate patient medical histories and vital signs.
3. Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
4. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
5. Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures.
6. Provide patient education and instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
7. Schedule patient appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed.
8. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
9. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

1. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Previous experience in a family medicine or primary care setting preferred.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
8. Current CPR certification.
