HRBP (Onsite- Texas City, Texas – Chemical Plant Environment)

INEOS Acetyls is seeking an experienced HRBP to support our manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with site and functional leaders, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on support across employee relations, labor relations, and workforce execution in a union and non-union environment.

This position plays a key role in supporting safe, reliable operations while minimizing people-related risk and strengthening overall organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
  • Lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations, discipline, and performance management
  • Support and administer labor relations activities, including grievance handling and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, employment law, and risk-based decision making
  • Partner on recruiting, succession planning, and performance management processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and HR governance requirements
  • Analyze workforce trends and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including strong employee relations experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred

Skills & Experience

  • Strong employee and labor relations background, including grievance handling
  • Working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and labor law
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels with a high level of discretion
