Quality Control Lead

Location: Houston, TX 77073

Pay Range: $22 – $28 per hour

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead to oversee inspection operations and ensure manufactured components meet quality standards and specifications. This role is responsible for leading a team of inspectors and clerks, managing workflow, and developing and maintaining CMM programs for rotor inspection.

Key Responsibilities

Prioritize and organize daily workload at the start of each shift

Monitor production flow and ensure timely completion of work orders

Train and support new team members

Review inspection paperwork and ensure accuracy and compliance

Promote team performance, accountability, and positive communication

Inspect machined components using metrology tools and compare to drawings/specifications

Generate inspection reports and certificates of conformance

Maintain calibration and accuracy of gauges and inspection tools

Ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all safety procedures, GMP standards, and PPE requirements

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in a QC Lead or similar role
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience using metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, dial indicators, etc.)
