Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development duties andresponsibilities will include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• To support global Implementation projectsand Management of Change initiatives for Oil & Gas Supply Chain unit
• To support the Oil & Gas Supply Chain Unit for customer inquiries, system support and tender responses
• To liaise between the global sales organization and the local executing entities to assure thatbusiness awards translate into definedoperational service provisioning
• To translate contractual obligations as outcome of an award into definedservices and deliverables
• To support and police the data integrity and quality of the Oil & Gas SCMsystem
KeyAccountabilities:• Leading,coordinating, and reporting all Sales & Business Developmentactivities relating to new and existing key accounts, target clients andindustries.
• Regularly liaising with Developers; Project Owners, OEM's to identify newbusiness opportunities & deugro issues.
• Ensure clients understand the core services and value potential ofdeugro.
• Identifying new revenue streams solutions to encourage clients to extendour existing services.
• Leading selected initiatives working together with Regional SalesManagers.
• Support and work with pricing and tender management teams.
• Develop relationships with Developers; Project Owners, OEM key decisionmakers & manage customer feedback.
• Manage the opportunity pipeline, proactively managing all possibleopportunities to achieve results in line with agreed targets andobjectives.
• Promote clear and consistent communications within the sales team.
• Reporting on changes and trends in the marketplace and the activities ofcompetitors.
• Compliance with all TSA, DOT, and Customs regulations (US and Foreign)
• Prepare and develop a sales strategy that is consistent with theBusiness Plan together with delegated manager.
• Fulfill allprescreening and documentation to adhere to corporate client procedures andprocesses.
• Utilize Pricing Team for completion of all bids. Provide support and guidanceto ensure accuracy.
• Establish, communicate, and implement sales targets and plans for currentaccounts throughout the United States in conjunction with the delegatedmanager.
• Meet and exceed the sales objectives of growth, profitability, andproductivity with the support of the delegated manager.
• Provide ownership of activity and development on designated current accounts.
• Responsible for compiling customer package for the verification of customercredit worthiness with respect to financial and liability issues.
• Provide market intelligence about price, service comparisons by competitor,and new projects with current clients.
• Travel as required for client visits and approved by the delegated manager.
• Development andmaintenance of strong long-term customer and vendor relationships.
• Overseascommunications that include anticipation of needs in overnight correspondence.
• Keep electronicrecords using CRM technology. While deugro is in process of rolling out new CRMtechnology, provide visit reports within 3 days after each client visit.
• Maintaining currentknowledge of seasonal, political, or other factors that could cause delay.
Objectives:• Client portfolio andcontacts - For which clients you have a lead role, and for which do yousupport. How often do we contact/visit clients (against own targets).
• Client gaps - Wheredo we have no success or poor knowledge or issues.
• Achieving agreedturnover and profit goals within the first 12 months.
• Reporting value andNumber of Tenders received in the last 12 months (budget vs firm shipments).
• Success on firmshipment enquiries (conversion rate -turnover - profit).
• Project/ClientPipeline (i.e., what does the client have to award - value of future tenders).

• Minimum 5 years of Freight Forwarding / Project Freight Forwarding experience with Business Development Experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing
