The GAPster (Graduate Assistance Program) is designed to develop high-potential early-career talent through immersive rotational experiences focused on operations, analytics, business support, and cross-functional development within the aviation services industry.

Position Summary

WFS is seeking a highly analytical, motivated, and solutions-oriented recent college graduate to join our GAPster Program as an Operations & Business Analyst Associate.

This is a structured 12-month rotational development program consisting of two 6-month rotations designed to provide broad exposure across operational support, business analytics, project coordination, and cross-functional business initiatives within the aviation services industry.

Participants will complete:

  • One operational rotation supporting frontline airport or station operations
  • One additional rotation aligned within another WFS business unit or corporate operational support function, such as Cargo, Passenger Services, Express, IT, Finance, or another assigned team

This hybrid role will partner closely with station leadership, operational teams, and corporate stakeholders to support reporting, analytics, process coordination, operational performance initiatives, and business support activities across the WFS network.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting business operations in a fast-paced environment.

Program Structure

The GAPster Program includes:

  • Two structured 6-month rotational assignments
  • Exposure to operational leadership and corporate business functions
  • Hands-on project work supporting operational and business initiatives
  • Mentorship and professional development opportunities
  • Exposure to analytics, reporting, project coordination, and operational support activities
  • Site visits and collaboration across multiple stations and operational environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational and business data to support reporting and decision-making
  • Assist with operational reporting, KPI tracking, and performance analysis
  • Support business process coordination and operational improvement initiatives
  • Partner with station leadership and corporate teams on day-to-day business initiatives
  • Assist with project coordination activities including timelines, reporting, and stakeholder communication
  • Develop dashboards, reports, presentations, and business summaries for leadership review
  • Participate in station visits, operational reviews, and cross-functional meetings
  • Collaborate with Operations, IT, Finance, HR, and other support teams on business initiatives
  • Support administrative, analytical, and operational tasks related to rotational assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree completed within the last 12 – 14 months in one of the following areas:
  • Business Administration
  • Business Analytics
  • Finance
  • Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Aviation Management
  • Information Systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools preferred
  • Internship, academic project, or work experience involving operations, analytics, logistics, finance, or project coordination preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in both corporate and operational environments
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% throughout the program
