Overview

As Senior Finance Director at StandardAero in San Antonio, you will lead cross sector financial planning and performance for Commercial Engine Services and MH&E, partnering with site leadership to optimize capacity, cost, and growth. You'll drive AOP/LRP, SBUs' financial commitments, and governance for the site, while promoting continuous improvement and data driven decision support. This role blends strategic forecasting with hands on finance leadership to enable scalable aviation services and strong stakeholder partnerships. You'll shape budgeting practices and performance across multiple platforms and external interfaces.

Responsibilities
  • Lead site strategy and integration of new engine platforms; engage with external customers and vendors to support expansion
  • Act as LEAP business partner; support SBU leadership with finance commitments and maintain SIOP processes
  • Oversee forecasting and program management of AOP/LRP with key stakeholders
  • Provide cross sector finance leadership and liaise with sector VP's and Executive Leadership Team
  • Develop rapid prototyping for cost benefit analyses to assess risks/opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement to improve process efficiency and forecast accuracy
  • Monitor and strategize manufacturing variances; ensure robust cost control and decision support
  • Oversee RB211, J85, F110, T56 finance teams; ensure month end close, forecasts, AOP/LRP and audits
  • Implement cost allocation methodologies across platforms and support scalable growth
  • Promote FP&A best practices and data visualization for decision support
  • Ensure compliance with Government Contracts and conduct audits as needed
  • Develop talent through leadership and professional development, promoting a unified finance team
  • Maintain a harmonized finance team across both sectors to deliver site commitments
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or MBA)
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience with ability to communicate results to senior executives
  • Manufacturing exposure with understanding of BOMs, PPV, absorption and related terms
  • Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint with interest in transforming data into real time decision support
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi task
