Consumer Finance Regulatory Associate (Senior Level)

In this role you will provide senior-level regulatory and compliance guidance to financial services clients, spanning mortgage lending, consumer and commercial finance, BNPL, EWA, and FinTech structures. You will contribute within GT's global platform to service domestic and international clients and take on meaningful responsibility in a collaborative, client focused environment. The role emphasizes strong research, writing, and advocacy to address key financial services laws and regulations. • Provide regulatory and compliance guidance to financial services clients across multiple jurisdictions
• Advise on mortgage lending/servicing, consumer finance, and BNPL/EWA FinTech products
• Support state licensing efforts and knowledge of key financial services laws (TILA, RESPA, UDAAP/UDAP, HMDA, FCRA, FDCPA)
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and high-quality writing; prepare memos and briefs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage significant responsibilities while delivering client service
• Engage with money services businesses and payment systems where applicable
• Contribute to a large, global regulatory platform serving domestic and international clients

• 7+ years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience
• Expertise in mortgage lending and servicing, consumer and commercial finance, BNPL/EWA, FinTech products, and bank partnership models
• Experience with state licensing and key financial services statutes and regulations (TILA, RESPA, UDAAP/UDAP, HMDA, FCRA, FDCPA)
• Strong academic background and excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills
• Willingness to take on significant responsibility and work in a client-focused, collaborative environment
• Admission to or eligibility for admission in the relevant jurisdiction
• Spanish language is a plus but not required
