VP, Finance (IT)

In this role you will manage the full financial lifecycle for the IT organization, aligning IT investments with Concentra's strategic goals. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial controls while overseeing IT purchasing and asset management. As a key liaison among IT, Finance, and Legal, you will drive agreement on MSAs/SOWs and ensure procurement processes support major IT initiatives. You'll enable data-driven decisions on large IT projects, digital transformation, and potential M&A impacts. • Oversee IT financial functions including strategic analysis, budgeting, capital planning, reporting and controls
• Manage the IT purchasing workflow from requisition to final invoice approval
• Collaborate with Legal to review, finalize, and store Master Service Agreements and SOWs
• Track IT asset inventories to ensure payment for active licenses and maintenance
• Analyze capital vs. expense, capitalization of internal software development, IT resource allocations, and project ROI
• Oversee financial tracking of large IT projects and major strategic initiatives
• Participate in ongoing digital transformation projects with IT and business leadership
• Contribute to M&A activities and assess financial impact and synergies on IT processes

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Active CPA license preferred
• 10 years' experience in budgeting, financial planning/forecasting, and financial analysis
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
• 3-5 years' experience with an IT organization
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, Hyperion and Essbase
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procurement financial management
• Proven leadership and effective communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information per HIPAA/PHI regulations
