SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant - Utilities

In this role you drive SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations for CFOs and controllers, translating finance priorities into scalable SAP-based solutions. You collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, technology, testing and offshore delivery to improve close, controls and reporting. You will design end-to-end Finance processes, validate data and support cutover and hypercare, using GenAI to boost efficiency. • Engage with finance stakeholders to capture current-state pain points and translate them into SAP S/4HANA Finance requirements
• Contribute to business cases, roadmaps and client presentations advocating SAP S/4HANA Finance value
• Design and configure end-to-end Finance solutions across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Product Costing
• Analyze finance process data (COA, master data, sub-ledger, journals, asset registers, reconciliations) to inform design and data cleansing
• Coordinate system testing (unit, SIT, UAT), defect triage, cutover activities and hypercare
• Apply SAP Business AI capabilities and GenAI use cases to improve close, controls and reporting processes
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams in a Global Delivery model
• Coach analysts and junior team members, contribute to internal assets and best practices

• Minimum 3 years of functional SAP Finance experience (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Product Costing)
• At least 3 years of hands-on SAP Asset Accounting / Fixed Assets experience
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA or SAP Finance implementations in a delivery role
• Minimum 3 years of finance transformation consulting experience (process design, controllership, close optimization, CFO advisory)
• At least 1 year experience serving utilities clients or in a utilities finance/offering regulatory function
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12 years+)
