Business Analytics Manager

As Business Analytics Manager, you will lead Garver's analytics practice across transportation, aviation, water, buildings, and federal markets. You will mentor a team of BI developers and analysts, own project scopes and deliverables, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. You will blend data architecture expertise with business judgment to shape service offerings, pricing, and strategy. You will engage executives and translate analytics insights into action, driving growth and quality. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI developers and analysts, including hiring and performance reviews
• Plan and manage project deliverables, budgets, and quality to Garver standards
• Set data modeling, dashboard design, documentation, and quality review standards
• Drive analytics projects from initiation to delivery with scope, plan, and effort estimates
• Coordinate across clients, engineering leads, project managers, and internal data teams
• Prepare scopes, work plans, and fee proposals; monitor financials and manage scope/risk
• Define strategic goals for the analytics practice and align offerings with growth objectives
• Provide direction on data management, architecture, modeling, and governance
• Guide development of Power BI dashboards and advanced analytics; ensure data quality and refresh strategies
• Engage clients as primary contact; present findings to executives; deliver training and docs

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 10+ years in business analytics, BI, data management, or related discipline
• 5+ years of direct people management experience
• Project management experience
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI; experience with Tableau and ArcGIS Dashboards; SQL-based databases
• Expertise in data management, architecture, and advanced data modeling
• Experience writing project scopes and fee estimates
• Strong presentation skills to executive and non-technical audiences; training delivery
