Locums, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a year-long, part-time contract placement with a client in Houston, TX. Texas state PMHNP license needed.About the Opportunity:- Period of Performance is approx. 9/15/20 to 9/14/21 - Patients are to be seen at the clients health center as well as virtually via telemedicine- Hours will be approx. 8 per week scheduling to be negotiated with client- Patients are primarily students but can also include client staff- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner duties to include evaluation, re-evaluations, follow-ups, medication management, service referrals, and consultation with students and staff for full range of Psychiatric disorders. Will be responsible for prescribing medications and completing appropriate paperwork- Paid Malpractice insurance providedRequirements:- Active and unrestricted Texas state license - Certified PMHNP - Active and unrestricted Texas DEA registration- Minimum of 3 professional references- Sub-specialty certification in Addiction Psychiatry and/or Addiction Medicine preferred read more
