Data Entry Pharmacy Technician - High-Volume Dispensing

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a fast paced pharmacy environment processing 300 prescriptions per day. This role is highly focused on accurate, high speed data entry and prescription processing using PioneerRx. Ideal candidates are detail oriented, efficient typists who thrive in high volume workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, process, and verify prescription orders with speed and accuracy
• Consistently support daily volumes of approximately 300 prescriptions
• Utilize PioneerRx for prescription typing, workflow management, and documentation
• Prepare and label medications for pharmacist verification
• Resolve data entry errors, rejections, and missing information promptly
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, HIPAA, and internal SOPs
• Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to maintain turnaround times

Required Qualifications

• Strong prescription typing and data entry experience (high speed & accuracy required)
• Hands-on experience with PioneerRx (required)
• Prior experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Solid attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
• Ability to start immediately (next week)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license or registration (per state requirements)
• Experience in retail, closed door, or specialty pharmacy environments
• Proven ability to meet productivity and accuracy metrics

-Preferred: sterile compounding exp and certified pharm tech exp

Pay: $21-$23/hour
