Encompass Health seeks a Doctor of Physical Therapy to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services in our inpatient hospital setting. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to restore mobility, function, and independence. Responsibilities include patient and family education, accurate documentation, and participation in care conferences. Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education Educate patients and families on home programs and safety Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members on care plans Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards Contribute to performance improvement and professional development activities Orthopedic and neurologic assessment Therapeutic exercise prescription Gait and balance training Neuromuscular re-education techniques Manual therapy techniques Functional mobility and transfer training Use of rehabilitation equipment and modalities Clinical documentation and EMR proficiency Patient and family education Interdisciplinary care coordination Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in practicing state Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree Basic Life Support (BLS) certification CPR certification5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
