Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Senior Therapist to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy services in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this senior role, you will evaluate patients, develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, and coordinate closely with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal functional recovery. You will mentor junior therapists, provide clinical guidance, and help advance best practices in a nurturing, dynamic, and rewarding environment focused on patient-centered care and measurable outcomes. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to support functional recovery Monitor, document, and adjust care plans based on patient progress Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members Mentor and provide clinical guidance to junior therapists and therapy staff Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home programs, and safety Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and documentation standards Contribute to quality improvement and best-practice initiatives Participate in care conferences and discharge planning Support a nurturing, patient-centered culture and high clinical standards Patient assessment and evaluation Inpatient rehabilitation therapy Treatment planning and goal setting Interdisciplinary care coordination Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Functional mobility and ADL training Neurorehabilitation techniques Therapeutic exercise and manual techniques (as applicable to discipline) Patient and family education Regulatory and compliance documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active, unrestricted state license in relevant therapy discipline (PT, OT, or SLP) Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Prefer certification in a rehab specialty (e.g., NCS, GCS, CHT, or comparable) Prior inpatient rehabilitation or acute care experience5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
