Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. In this onsite role, you’ll evaluate patients recovering from major illnesses and injuries, design and deliver individualized treatment plans, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to restore mobility, function, and independence. You’ll document progress, educate patients and families, and contribute to quality initiatives. Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team on patient care plans Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans accurately and timely Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best-practice programs Provide guidance to therapy assistants and support staff as needed Engage in ongoing professional development, specialty training, and in-service education Physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning Orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation techniques Gait and balance training Therapeutic exercise prescription Functional mobility and transfer training Patient and family education Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Interdisciplinary team collaboration Outcome measurement and reporting Knowledge of rehabilitation regulations and best practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active state Physical Therapist (PT) license Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited PT degree Current BLS/CPR certification Eligibility for relevant physical therapy specialty certifications (e.g., NCS, OCS, GCS)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
