As a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist, you perform ordered radiographic exams of bony anatomy, following state scope and licensure limits. You operate and monitor X-ray equipment, apply radiation safety standards, and help maintain a safe imaging environment. Working in an outpatient clinic, you coordinate with providers and staff to support efficient patient flow, accurate images, and quality patient care while documenting exams according to practice policies. Perform radiographic exams of permitted anatomy according to provider orders and state LMRT scope of practice. Operate, monitor, and perform basic checks on X-ray equipment to maintain safe mechanical function. Apply radiation safety protocols for patients, self, and staff, following practice policies and regulations. Document exams and related clinical information accurately in patient records and practice systems. Collaborate with clinic staff and providers to support efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Maintain current knowledge of imaging equipment features and updates as introduced in the clinic. Communicate equipment issues or unusual situations promptly to clinic leadership.
