Join Encompass Health as a Therapy Team Leader in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary therapy team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered rehab care. You will oversee treatment planning, mentor therapists, ensure regulatory and documentation compliance, and collaborate closely with nursing and physicians to support optimal functional outcomes. Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary therapy team in an inpatient rehab setting Oversee development and execution of individualized therapy treatment plans Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and regulatory compliance Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and case management on patient goals and discharge planning Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to therapy staff Monitor therapy quality metrics and implement process improvements Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workload prioritization for therapists Support patient- and family-centered education on rehab goals and progress Promote a safe, healing environment and adherence to infection control policies Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care conferences Inpatient rehabilitation therapy Interdisciplinary care coordination Treatment planning and goal setting Clinical documentation and EMR proficiency Regulatory and compliance knowledge (e.g., CMS, Joint Commission) Team leadership and staff mentoring Functional mobility and ADL assessment Discharge planning and patient education Time management and caseload prioritization Quality improvement and outcome measurement Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active state licensure as PT, OT, or SLP (as applicable) Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification ACLS preferred depending on patient population Prior leadership, charge, or lead therapist experience preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
