Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based rehabilitative care in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to restore function, mobility, and independence. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you’ll educate patients and families, track progress, and document care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Evaluate patients’ functional status, mobility, strength, and balance using standardized assessments Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and rehabilitation goals Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual therapy, and functional mobility interventions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and functional independence Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and facility standards Participate in care conferences and contribute to discharge planning and goal setting Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response and outcomes Ensure safe use and maintenance of therapy equipment and assistive devices Support a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement within the rehab team Physical therapy evaluation and assessment Therapeutic exercise prescription Gait and balance training Manual therapy techniques Neurorehabilitation and orthopedic rehab skills Care planning and clinical documentation (EMR) Patient and family education Interdisciplinary team collaboration Functional mobility and transfer training Knowledge of rehab regulations and safety standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state Physical Therapist (PT) license Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Previous inpatient rehab or acute care experience preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
