Encompass Health is hiring Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses to provide compassionate, hands-on care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you’ll deliver direct patient care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, support complex rehab plans, and reinforce patient and family education. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help patients recover from major illness and injury, documenting care accurately in the EHR. Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients under RN/physician direction Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and responses to treatment Perform wound care and other clinical procedures per policy and scope of practice Support individualized rehab and care plans with the interdisciplinary team Educate patients and families on care, medications, and recovery goals Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards Coordinate with therapists and case managers to support discharge planning Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives Patient assessment Medication administration Wound care Vital signs monitoring Care planning Electronic health records (EHR) IV therapy (where allowed) Patient and family education Infection control Interdisciplinary team collaboration Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active LPN or LVN license in state of practice BLS certification (Basic Life Support) ACLS preferred depending on unit Experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
