Program OverviewThe Bexar County Health District: University Health CPE Program is provisionally accredited by the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE): The Standard for Spiritual Care and Education.
This year-long, full-time program provides:
Required: Bachelor’s degree, One unit or more of CPE (or equivalent ministry experience of at least one year), formal endorsement or written statement of good standing within the applicant’s faith / orienting tradition.
Preferred: MDiv (or advanced degree equivalent), Ordination
