A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice in Dallas.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic buyers, and investors in sophisticated middle-market and upper-middle-market transactions.
The Role• Private equity acquisitions and dispositions
• Platform and add-on acquisitions
• Strategic mergers and acquisitions transactions
• Portfolio company transactions
• Growth equity and investment transactions
• Transaction structuring, due diligence, and negotiations
• Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and ancillary transaction documents
• Direct client interaction and substantive deal responsibility
• Collaboration with a sophisticated national M&A and private equity team
Ideal Background• Approximately 5–8 years of M&A and private equity experience
• Significant experience representing private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, portfolio companies, and investors preferred
• Experience leading transaction workstreams and managing junior attorneys strongly preferred
• Strong drafting experience involving purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, equity documents, and ancillary transaction agreements
• Excellent business judgment, communication, and client-management skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted in Texas

CompensationExpected compensation ranges from approximately $310,000 – $425,000+ depending on class year, experience, deal experience, and overall qualifications.
