Business Development Manager, Simulation & Software Solutions

In this role, you will expand METECS' customer base across energy, agriculture, and construction by translating complex simulation and immersive tech capabilities into practical, value-driven solutions. You'll work closely with engineers to tailor proposals and manage a commercial pipeline, representing METECS at industry events and nurturing long-term relationships. The role blends hands-on technical curiosity with strategic business development to solve real problems for diverse clients.

• Build and manage a pipeline of new commercial opportunities in energy, agriculture, and construction
• Prepare and deliver presentations outlining our services and value proposition
• Engage with customers to understand needs and collaborate with engineers to shape solutions
• Own the proposal process: gather requirements, coordinate SMEs, and write proposals
• Represent METECS at industry conferences and trade shows
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers
• Report on pipeline, forecasts, and strategy to leadership

• Bachelor in Engineering or related technical field, plus experience in sales or business development
• Track record of building relationships that converted to signed business in technical or professional services
• Comfort presenting to non-technical audiences and translating complex concepts
• Genuine curiosity about simulation, digital twins, or immersive technology
• Patience to understand customer needs by listening and asking questions
