We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate must have experience in various caregiving settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home health care. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide patient care and support in a private residence.
Monitor patients' overall well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Maintain cleanliness, and organization of living spaces to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, ensuring their needs are met compassionately.
Uphold HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality regarding patient information.
Requirements
Must have previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or similar positions is required.
Must have previous experience in caregiving for individual children with multiple disabilities.
Must have previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) and Other Health Impairment, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), is required.
Must have experience working with children with a speech impairment, such as non-verbal communication.
Must have the ability to communicate in American Sign Language.
Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
First aid and CPR certification are required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges.
