Encompass Health seeks a Hospital Clinical Educator to advance clinical excellence in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will assess staff learning needs, design and deliver orientation, mandatory training, and ongoing clinical education for nurses and allied health professionals. You will support evidence-based practice, regulatory readiness, and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you’ll coach and mentor clinicians, evaluate competencies, and help ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality rehabilitation care aligned with organizational standards and goals. Assess clinical staff learning needs and competencies Plan, develop, and deliver orientation and ongoing clinical education programs Provide coaching and mentoring to nurses and allied health professionals Ensure training supports evidence-based practice and regulatory compliance Collaborate with interdisciplinary leaders to align education with quality goals Support competency validation and skills check-offs Assist with policy, procedure, and best-practice implementation Use data to evaluate education effectiveness and patient care outcomes Promote a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous improvement Maintain accurate education records and documentation Clinical education and training design Adult learning principles Inpatient rehabilitation clinical expertise Regulatory and compliance knowledge (Joint Commission, CMS) Competency assessment and validation Curriculum development and evaluation Data-driven quality improvement Interdisciplinary team collaboration Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency Professional communication and presentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license or relevant clinical license (state-specific) Clinical education or staff development experience BLS certification; ACLS preferred Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred Professional educator or clinical instructor experience preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
