Destination Development Manager

The Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) is seeking a Destination Development Manager to cover most of the Virginia Mountains and portions of Central Virginia Regions. Working with tourism industry partners, the manager will facilitate the development of community-based tourism programs, new products, and tourism-related businesses.

This position will have the ability to telecommute, have access to reliable internet connectivity, and the disciple to work independently from a home office within the service area. Considerable travel and evening meetings within the served regions, including regular trips to the Richmond office will be required. A valid driver’s license is required
