Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a Sanitation Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment in our wholesale food distribution and dairy operations. You will clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and warehouses; follow strict food safety, GMP, and OSHA guidelines; and document cleaning activities. The role includes using sanitation chemicals and tools, safely handling waste, supporting audits, and working closely with operations teams. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, refrigerated warehouse setting with varied shifts. Clean and sanitize warehouse, production, and packaging areas to food safety standards Disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning as directed Follow GMP, HACCP, and OSHA guidelines while performing sanitation tasks Mix and use cleaning chemicals safely according to instructions and SDS Complete sanitation logs, checklists, and other required documentation Handle and dispose of waste and recyclables following company procedures Inspect areas for cleanliness and report issues or maintenance needs Collaborate with operations staff to schedule cleaning around production Operate cleaning tools and equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers Support internal and external food safety and safety audits through proper sanitation Industrial cleaning Food safety and sanitation Chemical handling and dilution GMP compliance OSHA safety practices Equipment and facility sanitizing PPE use and safety Documentation and recordkeeping Basic mechanical cleaning of machinery Hazardous waste handling Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Food safety or sanitation training (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent) preferred OSHA safety training a plus Forklift or pallet jack certification helpful5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
