ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher to provide consistent instruction and support for children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges. In this on-site role, you will follow lesson plans, adapt instruction to student needs, maintain a safe and supportive classroom, and encourage academic, social, and life-skill development. You will monitor progress, support positive behavior, document student needs, and collaborate with school staff and families. Teaching credentials or a substitute permit may be required based on state and district guidelines. Deliver instruction and maintain continuity of learning during a long-term assignment. Follow provided curriculum, lesson plans, and school procedures. Adapt instruction and classroom support to students' learning and behavioral needs. Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment. Encourage students' academic, social, and life-skill development. Support positive behavior and use appropriate classroom management strategies. Observe and document student progress and relevant needs. Collaborate with school staff and families to support student outcomes.
