ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher to provide consistent, compassionate instruction for children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges. Deliver engaging lessons aligned with student needs, adapt instruction for diverse learners, and support classroom routines and positive behavior. Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and follow student support plans, including IEPs, as applicable. Work closely with school teams, families, and interdisciplinary professionals to promote academic, social, and life skills. Deliver instruction and maintain classroom continuity during a long-term assignment. Adapt lessons and learning activities to meet diverse student needs. Follow applicable IEPs and other student support plans. Monitor student learning and document progress, attendance, and incidents as required. Collaborate with school staff, families, and interdisciplinary professionals. Maintain student confidentiality and follow school policies and ethical practices.
