ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a compassionate Long-Term Substitute Teacher to support students with behavioral and learning challenges. Deliver engaging instruction and follow established lesson plans, adapting activities to students’ diverse academic and developmental needs. Maintain a safe, structured classroom, encourage positive behavior, and monitor student participation and progress. Collaborate with school staff, specialists, and families to promote consistent support and student success. Document attendance and classroom observations, follow school policies, and uphold ethical, inclusive practices. This role offers meaningful experience in specialized education, interdisciplinary teamwork, and evidence-based student support. Substitute authorization and background clearance may be required based on district and assignment. Deliver instruction using provided lesson plans and curriculum.
