ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a compassionate Long-Term Substitute Teacher to support students with behavioral and learning challenges. Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction, adapt lessons to diverse learning needs, and maintain a safe, structured classroom. Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral goals using evidence-based practices and positive behavior strategies. Follow lesson plans and applicable IEPs, monitor progress, and document student performance and classroom incidents. Partner with families, school staff, and interdisciplinary teams to promote consistent support and student success. The ideal candidate communicates effectively, exercises sound judgment, and approaches each student with patience, respect, and care.
