Product Finance Director, AI Products & GPU Investment Strategy

As the Product Finance Leader, you will partner with AI Engineering and Product to steer the financial planning and economics of the AI business. You'll oversee GPU supply planning, pricing strategy, and unit economics to sustain growth with discipline. The role combines financial rigor with deep technical collaboration to influence roadmaps and investment choices. You'll build scalable finance systems and a high-performing team, delivering real-time insights and ROI assessments to leadership.

• Plan GPU supply and demand across clouds; establish a unified demand plan for production inference, internal research, and new products
• Drive capacity commitment and procurement strategies with hyperscalers and neoclouds; optimize compute mix (reserved, spot, on-demand)
• Own AI product economics and partner on pricing; analyze revenue, margins, and product profitability
• Model end-to-end unit economics prior to shipping; design consumption structures that boost adoption while protecting gross margin
• Define north-star efficiency KPIs with Engineering and translate into roadmaps; automate reporting for real-time visibility
• Implement auditable multi-cloud cost allocation and robust financial operations
• Design ROI and capital allocation frameworks for major bets (frontier research, internal compute, partnerships)
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product finance team

• 10+ years in Strategic/Product Finance with background in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Management Consulting
• Deep fluency in consumption-based models, cloud infra costs, unit cost analysis, and gross margin optimization
• Proven ability to influence senior Engineering and Product leaders on roadmaps and pricing
• Track record of building scalable financial systems from scratch and turning telemetry data into actionable recommendations
