Finance Manager, FP&A Lead - Global Logistics, Inbound Transportation FP&A

In this role, you will act as a strategic finance partner for the Inbound Transportation team, driving profitability and customer experience by informing planning and execution of the inbound supply chain. You will translate data into clear recommendations for business leaders and influence decisions across the finance and operations partners. You will build analytical models, identify cost savings opportunities, and ensure data quality to support planning, budgeting, and performance insights. This role offers a chance to shape the efficiency of Amazon's inbound logistics at scale and contribute to cross-functional improvement initiatives.

• Work with large data sets to produce plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations using financial systems and advanced Excel functions
• Integrate data from diverse sources, identify data gaps or inaccuracies, root cause issues, and partner to fix or escalate as needed
• Communicate complex finance information clearly to varied audiences, adjusting style as required
• Identify and implement process improvements to automate, standardize, or simplify finance workflows
• Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and seek feedback for continuous development
• Participate in finance community activities and share learnings with the team and beyond
• Contribute to a collaborative, performance-driven culture and support onboarding of new team members

• 5+ years in tax, finance or related analytical field
• 6+ years creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or equivalent.
• Preferred: 6+ years identifying data issues, root cause analysis, and escalation planning
• Preferred: experience building financial models and delivering impact through savings or improvements
• MBA or CPA preferred
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting results
