Finance and Strategy Partner

In this role you will serve as the primary strategic advisor to Finance, Corporate Development and Communications, using financial insights to guide investments, forecast accuracy, and value creation. You will blend strategic finance with cross-functional leadership to drive efficiency, improve employee experience, and support long-term performance. You will also prototype AI-driven solutions to streamline planning and reporting, aligning with Stripe's mission to grow the GDP of the internet.

• Act as the primary finance partner to CFO leadership and key corporate functions
• Lead evaluation and analysis of strategic projects and foundational investments
• Manage end-to-end financial planning processes (annual plan, forecasts, long-range modeling)
• Build and deploy AI-based solutions to streamline processes
• Drive opportunities for automation, standardization, and data streamlining to improve reporting and decision velocity
• Collaborate with Data Science, Controllership, Legal, Marketing to ensure alignment
• Translate complex financial data into clear narratives for executive audiences

• 7+ years of experience in strategic finance or FP&A
• Strong financial modeling skills with multivariate planning tools
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders with financial insight
• Track record leading core finance processes (budgeting, forecasting, negotiations)
• Excellent communication skills; ability to distill complex information for executives
• Comfort with fast-paced, ambiguity and hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
• Self-starter with strong cross-functional relationship-building and results delivery
• Highly analytical with ability to bring structure to unstructured problems
