    • Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior charge, ED, and med/surg experience with an active WA or compact RN license.Details
      • Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts
      • Rotating days, with some weekend shifts possible
      • Emergency Room and Med/Surg (Adult and Ortho) patient populations
      • 13-week contractRequirements
        • Active WA state or compact RN license required
        • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
        • Previous experience in Med/Surg, Emergency Room, and Charge Nurse roles required
        • Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
        • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination requiredAdditional Information
          • Serves as a frontline leader responsible for on-site nursing supervision, care standards implementation, and delegated administrative functions during the assigned shift
          • Accountable for patient and family safety, staff oversight, and ensuring appropriate care delivery across the unit
          • Expected to model professionalism, foster teamwork, and act as a change agent through mentorship, empowerment, and conflict resolution
