The NISC III program at Employer is seeking an Airspace Analyst Project Manager to work in the Federal Aviation Administration Service Center in Des Moines, WA.

This Project Manager will conduct a feasibility study on existing uses of the National Airspace System (NAS) from proposed changes to airspace and aviation operations in the vicinity of Anchorage, Alaska.

Specific duties for this position include:

-Evaluate the proposed changes and make recommendations on feasibility, impacts and alternatives.

- Create and maintain a Project Implementation Schedule with necessary milestones.

- Coordinate reoccurring Workgroup meetings that will include all necessary stakeholders.

-Identify and evaluate potential issues or concerns from the study by affected groups and organizations.

-The Study will include review of current Instrument Flight Procedures (IFR), Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and Performance Based Navigation (PBN) operations. This will comprise of approach/departure routes within any local affected air traffic facility.

** This is a Temporary position.  The actual length of employment to last 1 year based on hire date **




Typically requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.

  Knowledge of and experience with NAS systems and terminology.

  Knowledge of FAA air traffic control procedures.

  Work duration not exceed 1 year.
