Lutheran Social Services seeks a Multi-Site Maintenance Tech to support safe, functional facilities across several residential and program locations. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair. The technician responds to work orders and urgent requests, completes safety and compliance inspections, and coordinates with vendors for specialized work. Working in a mission-driven, client-centered environment, this position helps ensure that LSS facilities remain welcoming, secure spaces that support critical behavioral health, housing, and family services. On-call rotation and regional travel required. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple LSS residential and program sites Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues Complete work orders, document repairs, and communicate status with supervisors and site staff Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs as needed Respond to urgent maintenance requests and on-call needs within set timeframes Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies; track inventory and request replacements Follow OSHA, building codes, and agency safety policies and procedures Support facility moves, installations, and minor remodeling projects Collaborate with program staff to minimize disruption to client services during repairs Building maintenance Plumbing repair Basic electrical troubleshooting HVAC maintenance Carpentry and drywall repair Preventive maintenance planning Work order and CMMS documentation Safety and OSHA compliance Vendor and contractor coordination Time management and prioritization Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation EPA 608 certification preferred HVAC/R certification a plus OSHA 10 or 30-hour safety training preferred Trade school certificate in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
