Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Part Time Weekend 1st Shift Security Officer to protect client sites and deliver exceptional service. In this on-site role, you will monitor access, conduct foot or vehicle patrols, observe and report suspicious activity, and respond calmly to alarms or emergencies. You will document incidents, follow post orders, and collaborate with site supervisors and dispatch. Monitor site access and verify identification for employees, visitors, and vendors Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and critical areas Observe, detect, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or safety issues Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according to established procedures Write clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports Use radios, phones, and security systems to communicate and coordinate responses Provide professional customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors Follow all post orders, company policies, and client-specific procedures Collaborate with supervisors and dispatch to resolve issues and support site needs Maintain a professional appearance and represent Per Mar’s values on-site Access control Patrol procedures Incident reporting Surveillance monitoring Emergency response Radio and communication systems Conflict de-escalation Report writing Customer service Basic computer skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State security guard license or ability to obtain Clean background check and drug screen Valid driver’s license (preferred) CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
