Strohwig Industries Inc, a precision manufacturer in Richfield, WI, is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector to ensure our large CNC-machined, fabricated, and tooled components meet exacting customer and industry standards. You will perform detailed dimensional inspections using advanced metrology tools, interpret complex blueprints and GD&T, document results, and support root cause analysis on nonconformances. In our family-founded, team-oriented shop, you’ll mentor others, collaborate with machinists and engineers, and help drive continuous improvement on challenging, high-precision projects for energy, aerospace, and heavy equipment customers. Perform detailed dimensional and visual inspections on large CNC-machined and fabricated components Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T to verify critical features and tolerances Use precision measuring tools and CMM equipment to collect and record inspection data Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions in quality systems Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and leadership to resolve quality issues and improve processes Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework Mentor and guide less-experienced inspectors and production staff on quality standards and techniques Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and internal quality standards and procedures Dimensional inspection GD&T interpretation Blueprint and schematics reading Use of micrometers, calipers, gauges CMM operation Inspection documentation/reporting Root cause analysis Use of ERP/quality systems Tolerance stack-up analysis ISO 9001/AS9100 quality standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ISO 9001 or AS9100 experience GD&T certification or equivalent training CMM operation or programming training NDT/visual inspection training (preferred)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
