St. Coletta of Wisconsin seeks caring Direct Support Professionals to provide awake or asleep overnight support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Jefferson and Waukesha. In this 3rd shift role, you’ll assist with personal care, bedtime and morning routines, medication administration, safety monitoring, and accurate documentation. You’ll support individualized goals, encourage independence, and respond to overnight needs in community-based homes. Provide awake or asleep overnight supervision and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities Assist with personal care, bedtime, and morning routines as needed Administer medications and follow health and safety protocols according to training and regulations Monitor individuals and home environment throughout the night, responding to needs and emergencies Support individualized goals that promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion Complete accurate documentation, shift notes, and incident reports Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families as appropriate Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment Follow person-centered plans, agency policies, and state regulations Participate in required trainings, team meetings, and ongoing professional development Personal care assistance Medication administration CPR and First Aid Documentation and recordkeeping Behavior support and de-escalation Basic computer and electronic health record use Time management on overnight shifts Infection control procedures Communication with individuals with disabilities Safety and emergency response Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (if required by employer policies) Ability to pass background check and caregiver screening per state regulations First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Medication administration certification/authorization (agency or state approved)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
