ABR Employment Services has partnered with a law firm in the La Crosse area and we are looking for a full-time Legal Assistant/Paralegal. This is an award-winning firm with competitive salary and benefits.
Wage: $18-24 per hour based on experience
Schedule: 8a.m. to 5p.m. Monday through Friday

A respected and dynamic law firm is seeking a motivated Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and ready to support multiple areas of law. Prior office experience is preferred, but we value a passion for learning and professional development. We are committed to mentoring and guiding you as you grow in this ever-evolving field.
As a Legal Assistant, you'll collaborate with our attorneys on a variety of tasks, including:
  • Utilizing word processing software (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Answering phone calls and providing exceptional client service
  • Communicating directly with clients
  • Drafting and preparing correspondence, pleadings, and contracts
  • Organizing and maintaining documents and client files
  • Assisting attorneys with client preparation and legal research
  • Supporting the preparation, filing, and service of legal pleadings
Required Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Positive, proactive attitude with enthusiasm to contribute
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt new software tools
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
