Job Title: Nurse Recruiter
Location: Grand Blanc, MI (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6-month contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours (8-hour shifts)
Pay rate: $42.00/hr on W2
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Recruiter to support high-volume recruitment efforts for nursing positions within a leading healthcare system. This role is responsible for delivering top nursing talent by managing the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering closely with hiring leaders, and ensuring a strong candidate experience.
The ideal candidate will have recent, dedicated RN recruiting experience, strong knowledge of clinical roles, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for nursing roles (RN and related positions)
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess qualifications and fit
- Coordinate and facilitate the hiring process through offer stage
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to understand staffing needs
- Conduct intake meetings and develop targeted recruitment strategies
- Prepare candidates for interviews and provide detailed role insights
Candidate Management
- Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the process
- Ensure a positive candidate experience and timely updates
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Operational Excellence
- Support high-volume hiring initiatives and workforce planning
- Track recruiting metrics and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Conduct background checks and coordinate onboarding processes
Outreach & Engagement
- Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and campus hiring initiatives
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified nursing candidates
- Stay current with recruiting trends and best practices
Required Qualifications
- 3-4+ years of dedicated nurse recruiting experience (RN recruiting required)
- Experience with high-volume recruitment environments
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong understanding of nursing roles and clinical environments
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
