Office Administrator (QuickBooks)
Location: Elkhart County, IN
Salary Range:$45,000 – $50,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Seasonal overtime required during peak periods
A well-established greenhouse operation is seeking a dependable and organized Office Administrator with QuickBooks experience to support daily business operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate order processing, financial tracking, and administrative coordination during busy seasonal periods.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and code vendor invoices using QuickBooks
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Reconcile daily cash drawers and manage petty cash tracking
Prepare bank deposits and maintain financial records
Enter and track wholesale orders in the point-of-sale system
Generate invoices and confirm customer orders
Maintain spreadsheets tracking orders, production, and deliveries
Monitor company calendar for order pickups and deliveries
Sort incoming mail and process incoming payments
Print weekly payables and assist with check processing
Provide general administrative support to the operations team
Experience using QuickBooks (Online preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering)
Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or office administration
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced seasonal environment
This role works in an office connected to a greenhouse and production environment. The pace increases during seasonal peaks, especially in the spring months.
