About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development for Digital Solutions, with a focus on driving high-value digital transformation and systems integration opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic revenue leadership, identifying and closing complex integration deals, and acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives. This elite, player-coach role demands a veteran with a portable book of business and deep expertise in the SI ecosystem, particularly in the areas of AI-driven problem-solving and end-to-end deal ownership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within systems integrators, with a strong technical background in data-centric integrators and platforms, and a mastery of the financial services and insurance sectors. Key responsibilities for the VP of Business Development include portfolio management, C-Suite advisory, and the ability to personally drive the sales cycle, from solution whiteboarding to multi-million dollar contract negotiation. The role requires an independent executor who can operate with agility and technical depth, capable of consulting at the C-suite level and structuring complex RFP contracts. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, with the ability to translate business problems into technical integration roadmaps, and be adept at identifying and addressing customer challenges in data migration and integration. A background in manufacturing is a plus, but the primary focus is on the financial services, insurance, fintech, and insurtech sectors. The position is remote, but the candidate must be based in a major city within the Eastern Time Zone or the Eastern part of the Central Time Zone.
