Nonprofit VP of Finance

What You’ll Do:
As VP of Finance, you will oversee the organization’s financial operations while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include:
- Lead financial reporting and present financial results to the Board of Directors
- Manage the month-end close process, annual budgeting, and forecasting
- Track donations, grants, and capital campaign expenditures
- Process bi-weekly payroll and oversee related reporting
- Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and manage annual audits
- Oversee employee benefits administration
- Manage treasury operations, banking relationships, and cash flow
- Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and reporting requirements
- Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and reporting accuracy

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7–10 years of progressive non-profit accounting and reporting experience
- Strong knowledge of non-profit financial statements, fund accounting, and compliance
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills required
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to Boards
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
Salary: $130-150K, depending on experience
